BPSC AEDO Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process

The selection for BPSC AEDO will go through multiple stages:

• Preliminary Examination :

  • This is the first stage — an objective-type screening test.

  • Candidates who clear prelims will qualify for the Mains exam.

  • It is used to shortlist candidates and does not count in the final merit.

• Mains Examination :

  • This is a descriptive (written) exam.

  • Marks of the Mains exam are counted in the final merit.

  • Only those who clear prelims can appear for the mains.

• Interview :

  • Candidates who qualify the Mains will be called for a personal interview.

  • The interview assesses personality, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Interview marks are added to final merit.

• Document Verification :

  • All selected candidates must go through a document verification stage.

  • Your educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), etc. will be checked.

• Medical Examination (if applicable) :

  • A medical test may be conducted to ensure you’re medically fit for the role.
