The selection process for CLAT UG PG Admission is as follows:

• CLAT UG (Undergraduate – LLB):
• Written Test: Candidates appear for the CLAT UG exam, which includes sections on English Language, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Elementary Mathematics.
  Merit List: Based on the scores, a merit list is prepared. There is no separate interview.
  Counselling & Seat Allotment: Qualified candidates are called for online counselling conducted by the Consortium. Seats in participating NLUs are allotted based on rank, preferences, and category reservation.
• CLAT PG (Postgraduate – LLM):
• Written Test: Candidates take the CLAT PG exam, which mainly tests Legal Aptitude, Legal Reasoning, and General Knowledge.
  Merit List: A merit list is prepared according to the marks obtained.
  Counselling & Seat Allotment: Successful candidates are offered seats in NLUs through counselling based on their rank and preference.
• Note: For both UG and PG, admission strictly depends on CLAT exam scores and merit, and some NLUs may have minor variations in counselling procedures.

Step-by-Step guide to fill the CLAT UG PG Admission application form:

• Registration :

  Click on “Register” for new users.
  Enter basic details: Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile Number, and set a password.
  Verify your email and mobile using the OTP received.
• Login :
• Use your registered email/ID and password to login to your account.
• Fill Personal & Academic Details :
• Personal Information: Father’s/Mother’s Name, Gender, Category, Nationality, etc.
  Academic Details: 10th, 12th, Graduation (for PG) marks and year of passing.
  Choose course type (UG – LLB or PG – LLM).
• Upload Documents :
• Passport size photo (as per specifications)
  Signature
  Category certificate (if applicable)
  ID proof (Aadhar/Passport/Other)
• Ensure documents meet size and format requirements mentioned in the form.
• Choose Exam Center
• preferred exam cities from the list provided.
  Center allocation is based on availability and merit.
• Payment of Application Fee :
• Fee can be paid online via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  Fee varies depending on category (General, SC/ST, etc.) and course type.
  Take a printout/receipt for confirmation.
• Submit Form :
• Review all details carefully.
  Submit the form.
  Download or save the confirmation page for future reference.
• Admit Card :
• Admit cards are released online before the exam.
  Download it using your login credentials.
