The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited online applications for the Airmen Group Y (Non-Technical) posts under the 02/2026 intake batch through the Air Force Rally Bharti 2025. Candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria can apply online for the Air Force Group Y Selection Test 2025.

Diploma/B.Sc route:

• Unmarried Born: 03/07/2001 – 03/07/2006
• Married Born: 03/07/2001 – 03/07/2004
• Age Relaxation: For details regarding age relaxations, please refer to the official notification before applying.

Airmen Group Y Recruitment 2025: All Eligibility

Educational Requirements:

• 10+2 candidates: PCB+English, ≥50% aggregate and in English
• Pharmacy diploma/B.Sc holders: Same 10+2 + Diploma/B.Sc Pharmacy (≥50%), valid registration with State Pharmacy Council/PCI

Physical & Medical Standards:

• Height: ≥152 cm
• Chest: 77 cm minimum (expandable +5 cm)
• Weight & Build: Proportional to height

• Vision: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/6 (no prior LASIK/PRK)
• Medical exam: Conducted at 6 AFS Hospital Coimbatore (includes ECG, X-ray, blood tests, hearing, etc.)

PFT:

• 1.6 km run: ≤6:30 mins (for 21 years); ≤7:30 mins (older/pharma route)
• 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 20 squats within a minute

Selection Process

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
• Online Written Test (CBT)
• 50 MCQs | 45 minutes
• English (20 qns) + Reasoning & General Awareness (30 qns)
• Marking: +1/-0.25; results same day
• Adaptability Test II – Evaluates suitability for armed forces life
• Medical Examination – Final fitness decision; appeal allowed with ₹40 fee
