RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Selection Process Step By Step

• Written Examination
• The written exam has two separate papers, both objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
• Paper-I: General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude
• This paper is common to all candidates, regardless of their chosen subject. It evaluates the candidate’s awareness of general topics related to Rajasthan, India, current affairs, educational psychology, and teaching aptitude.
• Topics include:
• History, geography, culture & economy of Rajasthan
• Indian Constitution, political system
• Current affairs (national & international)
• Educational psychology and child development
• Teaching aptitude and ICT (Information & Communication Technology)
• Logical reasoning and communication skills
• Paper-II: Subject-Specific Knowledge
• This paper is based on the subject you apply for — such as English, Hindi, Science, Maths, Sanskrit, Social Science, etc.
• Topics include:
• In-depth knowledge of the chosen subject
• Subject-specific teaching methods
• Educational psychology (focused on teaching that subject)
• Student evaluation techniques and classroom management
• Document Verification (DV)
• Once you qualify the written exam and your name appears in the merit list, you will be called for Document Verification.
• At this stage, you must produce original documents, including:
• Academic qualifications (Graduation, B.Ed/D.El.Ed)
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, if applicable)
• Domicile certificate
• Birth certificate or proof of date of birth
• Disability certificate (if applicable)
• Recent passport-size photo and valid ID proof
• If your documents are found to be incorrect or mismatched, your candidature may be cancelled.
• Final Selection
• The final merit list is prepared only based on marks obtained in Paper-I and Paper-II.
• No interview is conducted.
• Category-wise cutoffs are declared by RPSC after the exam.
• Once verification is successful and you rank within the cutoff, you will be offered appointment.

• Visit the Official Website
• Go to the RPSC official website:
  https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in
• Create SSO ID (If not already registered)
• If you’re applying for any government service in Rajasthan for the first time, you need an SSO ID:
• Click on “Registration” on the SSO portal.
• Choose any one of the options:
  • Aadhaar ID
  • Facebook
  • Google
  • Jan Aadhar
• Fill in basic details like name, email, mobile, etc.
• Set up your password and login.
• Login to SSO Portal
• Use your SSO ID and password to log in.
• After login, look for the section named “Recruitment Portal” or search for RPSC services.
• One-Time Registration (OTR)
• If this is your first time applying for any RPSC job, you will be required to complete OTR.
• Enter your:
• Class 10th details
• Aadhaar Number
• Address and personal details
• Education qualification
• Upload documents (passport size photo, signature, thumb impression)
• Fill Application Form
• Under “Ongoing Recruitment”, click on “RPSC Senior Teacher Grade II Recruitment 2025”.
