• One-Time Registration (OTR)
• Visit the official SSC website ssc.gov.in or use the mySSC mobile app (recommended for Aadhaar-based login and live photo capture)
• Complete Aadhaar authentication (optional but recommended)—this saves you from uploading a separate photo and signature
• Fill in personal information, including name (twice in Hindi for verification), parents’ names, DOB, Aadhaar number, email, mobile, category and contact details
• Submit OTP sent to email/mobile. Save your Registration Number & Password once generated. Your OTR data can be edited only twice and expires after 14 days if not complete
• 2. Part‑II: SSC JE Application Form
• Log in using your Registration ID and password 
• Select “Apply for SSC JE (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical)” from the notifications list.
• Fill in details such as:
• Highest education qualification
• Exam centre preferences (choose three within your region)
• Disability status, ex-serviceman status, post preference, etc. Columns 1–18 will be prefilled and non-editable after OTR
• Upload documents:
• Live photo via webcam or mobile (dimensions ~3.5 × 4.5 cm, 20‑50 KB JPEG/JPG, clearly dated; no cap or glasses) unless you’ve done Aadhaar authentication 
• Signature (JPEG/JPG, size 10‑20 KB, ~4 × 2 cm)
• 3. Preview & Submit
• Carefully review every entry.
• Edits are possible only before final submission. Once submitted, no modifications are allowed unless via correction window later
  
• Hit Final Submit, accept declaration, enter captcha, and verify OTP to complete registration 
• 4. Fee Payment
• Pay ₹100 if you’re a General/OBC or EWS (male) candidate. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex‑Servicemen and all female candidates are exempted
• Payment can be made via:
• Online: Net Banking, BHIM UPI, Visa/MasterCard/Maestro/RuPay debit/credit cards
• Offline: Generate SBI Challan and deposit cash at SBI branch (if allowed)
  
• Check payment status in your SSC login portal.
• Download or print the submitted application form for your records—SSC may ask to verify details later
• 5. Application Correction Window
• If needed, you can edit your submitted application from August 1 to 2, 2025.
• Two chances allowed: first correction costs ₹200, second costs ₹500. Only the latest corrected version is accepted
